First of all a big thank you to Bonnie and Nita - I received their beautiful biscorni on Saturday. I will post photographs but did want to mention again, Nita, that this is the second biscornu you sent me and I would be very happy to forward it onto someone else. Please let me know in the comments - if I don't hear by Sunday I will be very happy to keep it!

As to the apology - I appear to have been following a dream list and also I am WAY behind :( so again, I am sorry, I'm not sure what happened.

I went back in the posts and see that I have sent to Despina, Mayté, Sheila, Bonnie and Shay. This means that I still need to send to Marjorie, Nita, Karen and Michelle. Do not despair, girls, I will catch up!

I posted biscornus to Gillian, Despina and Mayté today - hopefully they won't take too long to arrive.
The biscornu I am stitching for Sheila is a bit more than 2/3 done, so hopefully only a couple more days until I get it to the post office. The one for Bonnie is kitted up and then I will take a deep breath and figure out how far behind I still am.
To all of you, I apologize - I do want to honor my commitment to each of you, and the Good Lord willing, I will.

I would like to know if I Have to expect to received any biscornu for the following months. Also would be nice to know WHO is still participating and who is not?

I sent a biscornu for Nita on June and for Karen D on July, but I haven't received any notice about getting them, according with the USPS they were delivered.

For July I supposedly will get one from Nita, but so far nothing have arrived.
For August I should receive one from Shay, But she is OFF already, that means I will not get it.
For September I should expect getting one from Bonnie.
And lastly for October I should get one from Sheila.

May I expect them or not???

For August I will be sending one to Michelle as she sent me one on March
For September I have to send one to Gillian as she sent me one on February
For Octuber I have to send one to Despina as she sent me one on January,

Do I have to send to them or would be better If we make arrangements to sent the next month to people who are still participating???

I will appreciated if I get an answer from all of you. Otherwise I will assume nobody cares and will step out of this exchange.

I wasn't going to say anything, but this exchange is starting to bug me too. I am working on the August biscornu for Bonnie, which will probably be mailed early since I am going on vacation in the middle of the month, but I haven't received a biscornu for June or July, and with so many people dropping out I'm not even sure who was supposed to stitch for me. I will finish out the year but I certainly learned my lesson about commiting to these long-term exchanges.

My doctor says I have to cut back on my stitching, so I will have to say goodbye. I stopped my knitting and crocheting but I pay for my supplies by model stitching for my LNS. The last couple of months have been ...... distressing. Please accept my apology for my absence. I also apologize for not acknowledging the receipt of packages - I've opened them all this morning and taken photos.
I had numerous packages that had arrived - including these lovely biscorni (biscornus?):

From Bonnie - this lovely little gem - it's very heavy for it's size - I think she may have used crushed shells? Thank-you so much, Bonnie!

Shay, I adore this delicate hardanger biscornu! The photo does not do it justice. Thank-you Shay - I'm in awe of your tiny delicate stitching!

And last, but not least, this pastel goodness from Sheila - which includes my favoritest motif - butterflies! Thank-you Sheila - I love it!

My sincerest thanks for all these beautiful biscornus - it's amazing how many different beautiful interpretations can be realized from one shape.

I'll be posting later when I get the biscorni I've stitched out in the mail.

Just want to say that this has blog killed me for exchanges. I no longer want to participate in any more. I am glad that I got to meet, stitch for and receive some beautiful biscornus.I feel like I have met and made some great stitching friends.
But the last two that I stitched for did not even have the decency to say they have received their biscornu.
I have heard from neither Nita or Karen. I would never treat someone that way.
That being said, I am going to be extra careful what I commit myself to.

I have received my biscornu for May from Michelle .

She stitched for me a design from Shepherd's Bush "Elizabethan Needle Cushion". I love the pastel colors of the flowers and the heart button. The beads really make it extra pretty.

The back is just as beautiful as the front with the sweet pea colored flowers and beads. I love Shepherd's Bush designs and this is the first one in my collection.

My March biscornu is ready to go but where do I send it? I know Michele is 3rd after me, but I stitched for her in January according to the list in effect at the time. At one time you said to stitch for Nita, who is now directly after me, but it seems this will require further adjustment as far as who stitches for whom, since according to the current list Shay also stitches for Nita this month, so if I stitch for her Nita would receive 2 this month and Michele none? This list needs a major revision. I think others are having similar difficulties.

What happened to that oh so boring life I used to complain about?

What I wouldn't give for a little boredom, sanity, and some time to stitch! Theses last few months would make a saint loose his faith.....okay, maybe not, but that's what it feels like!

As far as the group goes and as it says in the comments...yes, we are still using the same list as long as there is no need to change it. All of your work looks absolutely gorgeous and I'm glad everyone is having a great time stitching these little beauties up.

I will be putting up some photos tomorrow of what I received....it's superb!

Karen, thank you so much, I love it! I've long admired Stacy Nash's designs but apparently haven't had the wit to buy one, this will be put right forthwith! I love the coffee dyed fabric too and that is another nudge for me - several people have been chatting about dyeing (if you see what I mean!). This is my first *heavy* biscornu too, I've never used poly pellets, where do you get them - Joann's or Michaels's? They do add a nice feel to the biscornu, I must say. Thank you again!

Hi All! I rec'd a beautiful biscournu today in the mail from Marjorie. I absolutely love it! THank you so much Marjorie. And it is perfect for spring so will be going up on my mantle with all my springy stitches.
